Swim Lessons Overview

Level 1 :​​

Skills Checklist:

  • Submerge mouth, nose, and eyes completely ; blow bubbles
  • Front and back glides with support (3-5 seconds)
  • Flutter kicks on front and back with assistance
  • Assisted recovery from a floating to a standing position.

Level 2:

Skills Checklist :

  • Fully submerge and retrieve objects from chest-deep water.
  • Independent front and back floats (5-10 seconds) and recovery to standing.
  • Combined arm and leg actions on front (Freestyle foundation and back 10-15 feet unassisted).
  • Tread water using arm and leg movements for 15 seconds

Level 3:​​

Skills Checklist:

  • Freestyle with consistent rotary breathing (15 yards)
  • Backstroke and Elementary Backstroke (15 yards )
  • Introduction to Backstroke kick and Dolphin kicks mechanics.
  • Deep -water entry (jump in) and treading water for 1 minute continuously.

Level 4:

Skills Checklist:

  • Freestyle & Backstroke: 50 yards continuous with legal flip turns.
  • Breaststroke & Butterfly: 25-50 yards with legal open turns and streamlined breakouts.
  • Competitive Technique: Dive entries off blocks/side , pace clock usage, and basic interval training sets (e.g., 4 x 25 yard on 45 seconds)
  • Tread water continuously for 3-5 minute )

Adult Swimming

Program Phases

Phase 1: Water Acclimation

Core Focus : Fear reduction, breath control, and basic buoyancy

Phase 2: Stroke Foundations

Core Focus: Propulsion, stroke mechanics , and swimming efficiency .

Phase 3: Advanced Fitness & Lap Swimming

Core Focus: Conditioning, endurance , and lap swimming techniques.

 

 

No parents are allowed in pool area. 

Weekday Swimming – Fall 2026 and Spring 2027

Membership fee of $50 required to enroll into the program.

The Levels One-Four classes and the Adult classes will cost $115 per month for one swimmer.

All classes run one class per week on the day you select.

Choose the day and time slot that works best for your schedule.

Pre-Swim Team Class Schedule

Our program focuses on teaching future swimmers techniques that will make them competitive on any swim team.

Components:

  1. Starts, Turns & Finishes
  2. Specific Stroke Development
  3. Nutritional Education

​Qualified candidates will have basic knowledge of all four strokes

Fitness Class, Junior Lifeguarding skills

Our qualified swimming instructors prepare your swimmer to increase aquatic endurance, gain stamina, and perfect Swimming technique. Your child does not have to commit to the swim team. Ages: 12-16. Preparation for futter lifeguarding classless.

Important Information for Swimming Lessons

  • Prepare your child for swimming lessons before they begin
  • Swimmers’ last meal should be eaten at least 2 hours before the lesson
  • Swimmers should be on time and ready for the lesson
  • Take a quick shower in the locker room before the lesson
  • Swimmers should be in the pool area 5 minutes before the lesson begins
  • Please train your child at home to get dressed by themselves
  • Please change in the locker room and not in the pool or waiting area
  • Please do not interrupt lessons with questions; please wait until the end of the lesson
  • NO food in the pool area
  • Do NOT use cell phones in the pool area
  • Do NOT block walkways in the pool area
