Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County Unveils Renovated Teen Center
Union, NJ – August 28, 2018: Sleek, modern furniture, brand new technology, and bright fun colors… that sums up the newly renovated Teen Center at our Union Club! Thanks to everyone who joined us to witness the unveiling of this beautiful new space, as well as our new Video Game Room and rededication of our Digital Literacy Learning Center. The night was a huge success; we were so pleased to be surrounded by partners, supporters, and Board Members to unveil the new space.
Special thanks to Lowe’s and their partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Renovation Across the Nation program, as well as Party City and The Westfield Foundation for making the transformation of our Teen Center possible. Additional thanks to Comcast for their sponsorship of our Digital Literacy Learning Center as well as The Rotary Club of Union and ConnectOne Bank for sponsoring our brand new Video Game Room. Our members are so excited to utilize these stylish new areas and equipment for new experiences to learn and prepare for their futures in the workforce.

The new Teen Center includes dedicated space with computers and printers for teens to research and apply for colleges/universities as well as jobs.
Teen programs are available at our Union, Plainfield and Elizabeth Clubs. Focus areas include: Leadership, Community Service, Civic Engagement, Career Preparation, STEM, learning activities. Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County offers youth programs in 4 communities in Union County: Plainfield, Elizabeth, Union, and Roselle. Teen leadership programs for ages 14-18 are available in Union, Elizabeth and Plainfield.
